Teaching Excellence Fund

The Teaching Excellence Fund was created as a result of the transformation of the Educational Innovation Fund, which had been in operation since 2004.

The Ordinance No. 106 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw dated 19 July 2021 (M.2021.206.Zarz.106.pdf) define the objectives and operating principles of the Fund. The Fund will be available to the University units which provide teaching in at least one field of study at the University of Warsaw. The University units will be informed of the amount of funds available for a particular calendar year by the Rector’s announcement published by 31 May each year. Funding will be allocated by means of a targeted grant as a limit on the expenditure to be reimbursed.  The allocation of funding will be decided by the Vice-Rectors for Students and Quality of Teaching upon consultation with the Vice-Chancellor for Economic Affairs. The procedure of reimbursement will be based on an application including a report for the last year on the actions undertaken with the aim of achieving teaching excellence.
